Thomas Rowe was born circa. 1793.
On the 1851 Census Thomas was an Ag. Labourer and was living in Letchmore Heath in the Parish of Aldenham; he was aged 57 years. He was living with his wife, Sarah, who was aged 54 years and who was a Laundress. David and Charles Row (presumably Rowe) were living at home and both were aged 21 years; David was an Ag. Labourer and Charles was a Gardener. The whole family were born in Aldenham.
On the 1861 Census, Thomas Rowe was aged 67 years and was a Retailer of Beer. He was living in the Beer Shop, Letchmore Heath with a lodger (sister?) called Ann Rowe who was unmarried and aged 69 years; they had both been born in Aldenham, Hertfordshire.
He died on the 24th. September, 1862 at Letchmore Heath, Aldenham in the County of Hertford. He was a beer seller. The cause of death was softening of the brain. The person present at the death was his daughter, Ann Larkin, who simply signed with her mark; she lived in Letchmore Heath, Aldenham.
