David Rowe married Louisa Mott, both full age on October 10th.? 1852 in the Parish Church in the Parish of St. Luke Chelsea, in the County of Middlesex. David was a porter at the time of his marriage. Their residence at the time was Walton Street. David's father was called Thomas Rowe and he was a labourer. Louisa's father was called Thomas and he was a gardener. Their witnesses at the marriage were Jane Rowe and Eliza Mott.
On the 1881 census David and Louisa were living in Holly Walk, Enfield. David was a gardener and Louisa was a laundress. David was 57 years old and Louisa 49 years old. They had 6no. children at that time; Ann (aged 13 years), Alfred (aged 11 years), Isabella (aged 9 years-twin), Kathy (aged 9 years-twin), Florence (aged 7 years) and Frederick (aged 4 years). All the children were born in Finchley, Middlesex.
David Rowe died on the 7th. April, 1905 at 51 Raleigh Road, Enfield. He was 76 years old. His occupation was a gardener (not domestic). His cause of death was paralysis agitans 16 years, hemiplegia 12 months. His son A.H. Rowe was present at death; his son's address was Cecil Road, Enfield.
